Zirconia ceramic membrane (ZrO₂ membrane) is a high-performance inorganic filtration membrane manufactured using zirconium oxide as the active separation layer.

Compared with conventional alumina ceramic membranes, zirconia membranes provide superior hydrophilicity, enhanced fouling resistance, and excellent chemical stability, making them particularly suitable for challenging separation processes involving high organic loads, oil-containing wastewater, and high-value product recovery.

The asymmetric membrane structure consists of:
